Outlook 2007 - "Array index out of bounds" error creating shortcut

D

Debbi Chambers

I've just upgraded to Office 2007 from Office 2003. When I opened Outlook
2007, it imported all of my settings except for the shortcuts to the two
additional inboxes that I access through this account. (Both accounts are
still associated with my account, and I can access the inboxes through the
folder list).

When I attempt to re-add the shortcuts to these inboxes, I get an error
messages that says "Array index out of bounds." I've not been able to find
any information on this, other than it appears I'm not the only one having
this issue. Has anyone found a resolution?

What shortcuts are you referring at?
What are you looking at?
Where are these shortcuts pointing at?
How did you create them?

The shortcuts are created under the "Shortcuts" task bar on the left side of
the screen, using the "Add New Shortcut" link at the bottom. They point to
inboxes.

Does the same error occur when you create a new mail profile?

I resolved this issue without re-creating my mail profile.

Try Start > Run > "outlook /cleanprofile"

This will try to clear erroneous information from the selected local mail profile.
