Outlook 2007 as a RSS reader

Going to use OL2007 as a RSS reader and going to ditch Thunderbird

Unable to find the following features

1. How to set some feeds to check on a regular basis?

2. How to automatically delete messages older than 2 days?

1 - You can set the polling frequency here: Tools menu > Send/Receive >
Send/Receive Setting > Define Send/Receive groups

2 - You can try using the auto-archive settings to deal with this
