Outlook 2007 B2TR Send/Receive against Exchange 2K3 never complete

I have upgraded an Outlook 2003 install to Outlook 2007 against Exchange 2003
server and now experience send and receive tasks that never complete.

The tasks are 'Microsoft Exchange Server' and the description for that task
when highlighted is either 'Offline address book. Connecting to Microsoft
Exchange' or 'Synchronizing Hierachy'.

How do I make these tasks complete?

Have you tried a new mail profile to see if yours was damaged? Also, if you
right click the Outlook icon in the system notification area and select
connection status, what does it show when it is trying to complete the
tasks?

Note also that using the old profile now works correctly as well !!

Recreating the mail profile fixed the issues.
