Outlook 2007 Beta 2 and Outlook 2003

I have two PCs. One is set up with Windows XP Pro and Office 2003, The other
one is set up Vista beta 2 and Office 2007 Beta 2. I have connected both
Outlooks to the same exchange server and with cached mode.
When I read a message in Outlook 2003 it is marked as read, but it will not
be marked as read in Outlook 2007 Beta 2.
If I read a message in Outllok 2007 Beta 2 it is marked as read, and is
marked as read in Outlook 2003.
Is that a new feature?
