Hi,

Also, if the previous step failed, try re-installing Office. Seems like
re-installing Office did work earlier.

All new mail is not showing up in InBox or Unread folders--no contents shown
and no message shows. I can only see that X number of messages came in (they
are in bold in the each of these two folders), but none of the new message
since loading the Office 2007 Beta 2 appear in the Inbox or Unread folder.
It is as though they vanished to some place, even though they appear as
though should be there.

I hope this helps isolate the problem. My work around currently is to read
my messages on the internet. Clearly, not what I want to be doing since much
of my work is client oriented and confidential.

Hi,

Just out of curiosity, does the Unread Email folder show the contents of the
email? Or is it happening with the local folders too.
Wish to know if the issue we have is localised to the Unread Folder rather
than the Inbox or the other folders where the emails are present.
Try accessing the Inbox and let me know if those emails are showing up and
that you are able to read it.

:

I have no such program listed in my Add/Remove programs.

Do you have any other solutions? My mail is quickly filling up. I can send
mail out, but can not receive any.

:

Control Panel->Add/Remove programs- Select AVG then change. uncheck the
mail certification option.

After furious head scratching, JEEGG asked:

|
| Got any other advice? I'd like to read my e-mail some time in the

That didn't help at all. Same problem exists.

Is there any way to get direct support on this issue. Seems like having a
working e-mail ought to be an integral part of Outlook 2007

I finally got the views working so that I can see and read newly arrived
e-mails. It took two days, three changes of views and extend.dats and a
couple re-installs to get it there.

Somewhere alone the line, there was a crash notice and conflict report with
Win Fax Pro. I uninstalled Win Fax Pro. Also, all the views.dat files were
showing up as stemming from the Plaxo program that runs with Outlook. I
changed those 5 separate times before I was able to see the inbox and unread
mail.

Now my only problem is that I have RSS feeds appearing in my Unread mail box
and would like to figure out a way to block those and limit the unread mail
to mail only. I suspect that this might have something to do with filters.

Do you know of any known issues with Win Fax Pro and/or Plaxo as causing
issues with Outlook 2007, besides my apparent problems?

WinFax Pro barely runs on Outlook 2003 so I would expect errors with it on
Outlook 2007. As for Plaxo, I consider it a virus.

After furious head scratching, JEEGG asked:

| Mittu:
|
| I finally got the views working so that I can see and read newly
| arrived e-mails. It took two days, three changes of views and
| extend.dats and a couple re-installs to get it there.
|
| Somewhere alone the line, there was a crash notice and conflict
| report with Win Fax Pro. I uninstalled Win Fax Pro. Also, all the
| views.dat files were showing up as stemming from the Plaxo program
| that runs with Outlook. I changed those 5 separate times before I
| was able to see the inbox and unread mail.
|
| Now my only problem is that I have RSS feeds appearing in my Unread
| mail box and would like to figure out a way to block those and limit
| the unread mail to mail only. I suspect that this might have
| something to do with filters.
|
| Do you know of any known issues with Win Fax Pro and/or Plaxo as
| causing issues with Outlook 2007, besides my apparent problems?
