I use the unread mail search folder a lot! Love it!
In outlook 2007 when you read an email via the unread mail search folder and
then pick it up and move it to another folder you can not then mark it as
read without selecting another email and then re-selecting the one that was
just moved. It does not work either with the button or a right click option.
