Outlook 2007 corrupt data file crap

I never had the now infamous 'data file did not close properly' message
until 2007. Now it happens almost twice a month.

Sometimes, the scanpst program says the offending files are fine.

The coding re this problem is mind boggling. Microsoft rightly deserves to
be excoriated on this clear indication that it cannot
control, quality analyze, and produce modern software.

Is there any possible cure for this?

The format of a 2007 pst is the same as that in 2003
Perhaps you have something accessing the pst?
