Outlook 2007 crashes when trying to open an Email

This fault doesn’t happen will all Emails, but I have had three from
different people in the last 2 weeks.

When I double click on the Email Outlook restarts. But if I just single
click on it with the Reading pain open then it just hangs.

Once I kept on trying and it eventually opened, but not anymore.

Is there a fix for this?

fault address 0x0000936d.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at

Followed by an information entry of

But when in safe mode the Email opens without any problem.

The vent log entry suggest that this issue is caused by the addin
Able2Extract. Disable/uninstall/update it or contact Investintech support.

Same deal here. Able2Extract software was uninstalled and Outlook started behaving. Thanks for the fix!

See http://www.msoutlook.info/question/317

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, uninstall this
integration component of your virus scanner and see if it still happens with
new emails that come in.
