Outlook 2007 Crashes

All, I have been struggling with the following for 2 months now, seen
similar issues in forums but found no solution.

1) I have a full office 2007 Professional suite on my laptop which I
have been using happily for about 16 months.

2) Configuration: HP Pavilion dx2000 laptop running Vista Home premium.
System is only used professionally (no games or strange utilities) uses
office "as is" (no 3rd party addons) and is protected by Norton.
Automatic updates are on so the system is running with the latest
updates of both Vista and Office.

3) Issue: Since late august Outlook crashes with increasing frequency,
typically in two cases : Attempting a "copy/paste" from the body of an
e-mail/ Creating a new calendar appointment. BUT crashes have also
happened at other times. (Note I am using outlook only to access a pop3
professional mail account).

4) Diagnosis. ALL crashes are referenced as due to a fault in
wwlib.dll
Example from latest crash :
[Faulting Application Outlook.Exe
version 12.0.6514.5000
time stamp 0x4a89dc70
faulting module wwlib.dll
version 12.0.6504.5000
time stamp 0x49e7f5f9
exception code 0xc0000005
...]

5) Attempted solutions:
- Complete Virus scan of PC -> Clean
- Registry integrity check -> Clean
- Office Diagnostics -> Clean
- PST repair -> Done, some minor corrections done -> no change in
crashes
- DIsable ALL Add-ins -> Done (only Norton & some microsoft ones) -> no
change
- Start Outlook in safe mode -> No change in behavior
- Start Vista in Safe mode -> No change in behavior
- Disintsall Office SP2 -> No change in behavior
- Start with new profile/empty PST ->? No change in behavior
- Disinstall Office 2007, Reinstall Office 2007, Reload all updates +
New profile & PST -> No Change.

6) Note that I also have had a few crashes while using word (but as
outlook was running in the background I am not 100% sure of the cause).
This is really a MAJOR issue so any other (working!) solution would
really be great.

Thanks in advance

Does Event Viewer reveal anything meaningfull?
Have you tried drive diagnostic software, usually available from you
HD
makers site
Also www.memtest.org for a bootable memory testing utility.
Tried running Outlook via this MS utility to see if it reveals
specific
faulting module

Hi, Yes indeed I did a complete Hardware and Software verification o
my machine... no issues there.

I also obviously went into various debug monitor modes to try an
capture tha source of the issue....all I can say is that the issue i
clearly linked with:
- Outlook's use wwlib.dll (ALWAYS the faulting module)
- Some office or Vista update from Late August/Early September
- The fact that this causes wwlib.dll to go into a buffer overflow
(Why would creating a new appointment in the calendar do that thoug
sescapes me)

FWIW I have no issues on Vista or WinXp both of which have critical updates
applied
Tried Roady's suggestion?
