New computer, Dell Vostros 220, temporary install of Office 97 until 2007 was
purchased. Removed Office 97, installed Office 2007 and now Outlook tells me
everytime I start it the it cannot find mapi32.dll and to reinstall Outlook.
I found a simpilar problem with Outlook 2003 where you had to go into
Programs/Common Files/MSMAPI/1033 and rename the msmapi32.dll file to
msmapi32.old and this worked for a second but when then when I closed and
reopened Outlook the same message popped up....I am at a loss and this is a
business computer.
