Outlook 2007 fails to login to my ATTGlobal server

In my previous installation of Outlook 2003, I was able to enter my
ATTGlobal email account in the email accounts list. I have just upgraded to
Outlook 2007, and tried to enter the ATTGlobal account, but Outlook has been
unable to login to the ATT server.

I went to the ATTGlobal net's website and accessed my email account details,
so I know it's active. I also sent a test message from a different email
account in Outlook to the ATTGlobal address. Since mail sent to me at the
ATTGlobal address is automatically forwarded to another ISP account, my test
message sent to ATT was routed back to my other ISP and duly downloaded.
That shows that the ATT system recognizes mail sent to me. So why doesn't it
allow my email client to login?

Is there any known problem in Outlook 2007 about accessing the ATTGlobal
network?

Except for incorrectly configured account settings, there is no known
problem. Consult AT&T's Help pages for the correct settings to use.
