Outlook 2007 freezes if you're writing an e-mail when new mail is

A few users are experiencing a problem when they are typing in the body of a
message and new e-mail is received. The composition window will freezes.
You can't exit out of the e-mail or Outlook. You have to end task on the
message to close Outlook.

Does anyone know of a work around?
