Outlook 2007: GPO setting to hide RSS from UI does not fully work

S

Here's another issue to be fixed (Outlook 2007 RTM German):

1. Activate the GPO setting to disable RSS:
(German version: RSS feature deaktivieren or set this key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\RSS]
"Disable"=dword:00000001

2. This setting hides the RSS-Feeds tab from the configuration UI. However
Outlook 2007 creates an "RSS-Feeds"-folder (the folder is called "RSS-Feeds"
in the German version) in the user's mailbox.

It should not create or show the RSS-Feeds-folder. This is even documented
differently in the document "Configure Really Simple Syndication (RSS) in
Outlook 2007" in the ORK:

Disable RSS integration

When you disable RSS integration, the RSS Subscriptions root folder does not
appear in the folder hierarchy in the Outlook navigation pane, and the RSS
Subscriptions tab does not appear in the Outlook Account Manager dialog box.
