Outlook 2007 Hyperlink and Dialog

Thom Little

I had to uninstall and reinstall Office yesterday and lost many of my
parameter settings.

How do I get rid of the progress dialog box that appears when I choose
Send/Receive?

I had "convert to hyperlink" disabled everywhere. I have it disabled in
Word and Excel and in the Outlook editor. The strings are still being
converted to hyperlinks on outgoing messages. How can I turn this
conversion off?

Hi,

You can change the send and receive settings by clicking on Tools>send and
receive>send and receive settings>uncheck for automatic pop of the status.

You can disable the auto hyperlink by these options
type in a web address like www.google.com, you will receive a small arrow key with a box when point your mouse arrow OR
office button in new mail window and click on editor options
navigate to proofing options
click on auto correct options.

Hope this works

Thanks for the help. They are now set the way I want them.

The problem is that in Outlook there are two options in "proofing" that must
be turned off and I always overlook the second one.

Thanks again.
