Outlook 2007 Instant Search Error

When doing a search for a contact in public folders I get the following error
"Instant Search encountered a problem while trying to display search results.
Modify your query may resolve this.

I have ready the post instructing to copy the msscolmn.txt file to the
config directory but that made no change. Has anyone found a fix for this?

btw I am also running Outlook 2007 w BCM.
