After several months without problems, the search function in my copy
of Outlook 2007 has stopped cold. No error messages, but searches
come up empty no matter what the criteria.
I've rebuilt the index, upgraded MS Desktop Search to the latest
version, and run a rebuild and repair, all to no avail. I've got many
thousands of emails in several .pst files that are going to be pretty
hard to access if I don't have a working search function.
I'm finding a few references to this problem in previous posts, but no
solution. Anyone out there have anything to suggest? It's bizarre
that the functionality went from 100% to 0%, all at once.
