Outlook 2007 is not responding

I was using the program all day today just fine, I deleted a message and it
stopped repsonding when it advanced to the next message. Now everytime I
open it I can see the inbox area but can't see the message. This is the same
message it stopped working on when I deleted the previous one. This message
is from an accepted sender and never have had problems with it before. Not
sure if this is the problem or not.
Please help, this email is crucial to my day to day!

A few thoughts ...

FIRST, the program sometimes will appear to freeze and fail to display
anything because the next message has a large attachment. If you wait, the
attachment usually downloads and the message eventually appears in the
reading pane and the user can continue to navigate the messages.

SECOND, some users have experienced problems with the reading pane ceasing
to function. The problem is sporadic and users are having a hard time
determining the exact problem. Search in these messages for "Blank Reading
Pane" and see the thread initiated by 'Scotch'.

THIRD, you may have a corrupt email. If you cannot delete it from Outlook,
try deleting it from the Webpage Interface, if there is one for this
account.
