Outlook 2007 -Journalling

Office 2007 has been installed on clients machines. Journalling is enabled
for excel, word and power point files.
Situation
Journal records are wriiten whenever .xls,.doc files located on c:\ are
touched.
Problem
Journal records are not wriiten whenever .xls,.doc files located on a
mapped drive Z:\ are touched
How can this be corrected?
This works fine in Office 2003.
