Outlook 2007 Junk Email Not Displayed

Hi all,

I am running XP SP2 and Office 2007 SP1. I've recently norticed a strange
behavior in Outlook 2007 when I do a send/receive. I am not seeing all
downloaded messages being displayed in my JUNK folder after the send/receive
is complete. I first discovered this when I saw a message on the server (we
do not run Exhange server) and then did not see it on my local machine after
send/receive. I knew I saw a specific message on the server and Windows
Desktop Search found it and said it was in my Junk folder. When I went to
Junk, it's not there.

For example, I may download 20 messages, 10 go to my inbox and 10 go to
junk, but only 3 will display in the junk folder. I have verified by going
to webmail that all messages are downloaded.

If I stop Outlook and restart it, and go to my junk folder, I can see
Outlook "finding these missing messages.

This is disconcerting because I typically leave Outlook up and running for
days without stopping/restarting. The other day when I did stop/restart, I
"found" another 200 messages in Junk. Not all of these messages are junk, so
I need to be able to see them as soon as they are downloaded.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!
Bob
