Outlook 2007 + "Let Outlook decide the best sending format"

Contacts that have always had this setting are now receiving my emails
without graphics/pictures and instead winmail.dat attachment. Which "new and
improved" Office Update do I need to uninstall to get back to what wasn't
broke? Thanks in advance.
