When opening Outlook I get a message that there was a problem with one or
more reminders and they may not display and Tasks are not shown in the the To
Do list in the Task area, the Mail area or the Calendar. It says object not
found.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Have you run Office Diagnostics? From the Help menu, select it and let it do its thing.

Thank you. I tried Diagnostics with no luck. Next, I repaired from the
Control Panel with no luck. I then tried removing Office entirely (I
couldn't see how to just remove Outlook) and then reinstalled, again with no
luck.

I then removed Outlook again and all PST files I could find and then
reinstalled agin. I synched from my handheld and got most of it back but had
to reenter all of my tasks.

It now seems OK but I have no idea what happened and hope I don't have to go
through all of this again.

I see where at least one other person had a similar situation so if there
is a way to identify what happened and how to resolve it, I'd appreciate
knowing about it.

Thanks.
