Outlook 2007 nav bar fonts appear "enlarged" vs my other laptop -

Outlook is showing up with "enlarged" interface labels on my most recent
install of Outlook 2007. I can't seem to figure out how to make my new
install look like my old one.

I am migrating from one thinkpad to another. The screen resolution is very
similar: 1050 high in both cases, 1400 wide on the old laptop and 1680 wide
on the new.

Both are running Outlook 2007.

Both have Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, DPI setting to Normal (96
dpi) and Appearance, Font size: Normal.

My newer installation on the 1680 x 1050 display has "enlarged" user
interface elements. I'm not talking about the messages themselves, but the
Mail Folders list, nav bar, the words "Mail", "Inbox", "To-Do Bar" etc...
The letters even have a fuzzness as if not displayed at the LCD's optimal
resolution.

I bought the high resolution screen because I like to get a lot out of the
screen real estate. Now Outlook 2007 is 'enlarging' a bunch of its interface
bits and I can't seem to tweak it back to be identical to my other laptop.

Possible differences:

1. Older laptop has stand-alone Outlook 2007
Shows Outlook 2007 version (12.0.6300.5000) MSO (12.0.6017.5000)
2. New laptop has Office 2007 with Outlook and Small Biz Mgr.
Shows Outlook 2007 version (12.0.6300.5000) MSO (12.0.6013.5000)

I just want the interface to look at clean as sharp on my new thinkpad as it
did on my old. Any help much appreciated.
