outlook 2007 & outlook connector w/ hotmail acct

My hotmail acct was preventing email from getting to my outlook acct & I
couldn't send email from outlook. So I cancelled my hotmail acct & removed
outlook connector. I'm receiving & sending email from outlook again but
senders keep getting a message saying that the message could not be sent. How
do I fix this?

What exactly does the error message say? What type of account do you
have configured in Outlook?
