outlook 2007 rtfhtml.dll not in path

install enterpirse edition office 2007 -- word, etc works, but Outlook after
it opens, provides error message that states rtfhtml.dll is not in the path,
then closes. Second window opened about the closing of the program and said
to reinstall Outlook. I did a repair, received same messages, deleted
enterprise edition then installed professional edition and got same messages.
Ran office diagnostic from word, it claimed to fix one issue. Still
received the same messages in outlook. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue. Windows Vista Business. Word, excel, etc...work
fine, when you configure Outlook for the first time, it crashes with the
can't find rtfhtml.dll, wants you to of course, search for an answer, then
close the program, and then suggests reinstalling. I can tell you 1000% that
does not fix the problem.

Get my hardware from CDW, their techs know of the problem, can't offer
solution, nothing from microsoft either. Answer always the same, remove,
then reinstall. it doesn't work. let me know if you find a fix.

I gave up looking for a solution and loaded a 3rd party email package --
thunderbird. Works well for email but you loose some of that fine integration
you expect from the Office package.
