Outlook 2007 sorting issue

I have a selected to sort my Inbox by clicking on the "From" column header. The sort does not seem to complete. For example, I have a co-worker named David. After I do a sort, David's most recent email is at the top and then the second most recent email is next, but then the next 15 emails are from other people.

Has anyone ever seen something like this? If so, how did you fix it?
