Outlook 2007 stop working on Windows Vista

I have installed Office 2007 On windows Vista and it works great for 2
weeks.
Now, suddely, Outlook 2007 stops working after 10 seconds each time I
open it.
In the event viewer I can see this entry:
Faulting application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.4518.1014, time stamp
0x4542840f, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time
stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000374, fault offset 0x000af1c9,
process id 0x1608, application start time 0x01c73629626e43f0.

I suspect it has something to do with Windows Messenger since It starts
happening just after I uninstall/reinstall Windows Messenger.

I tried Uninstall/Reinstall Office 2007 and it didn't help.
Other Office 2007 applications works great.

Any idea how to Solve it ?

I have the same problem. Outlook 2007 was working fine then I shut it down an
started it again and I get th efollowing. This is on a fresh install of Vista
Ultimate and a fresh Office install.

[Window Title]
Microsoft Windows

[Main Instruction]
Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working

[Content]
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available.

This has been happening to me too. All other office applications work. I
have to jump back to the office 2003 version of outlook.

Not sure if you are facing the same problem I had. Tortured me for a long 3
weeks. Nothing I found online worked. Office Diagnostics could not help too.
Hope it works for you as it did for me. What a relief.

Mine was a case of corrupted PST/OST file. Repair using
scanpst.exe/scanost.exe that comes with Outlook may not work, so try renaming
your offline file, eg. "outlook.ost" to "outlook_old.ost", and let Outlook
builds a new one again the next time it starts up.

Good luck! And let me know if it's solved at (e-mail address removed).
