Outlook 2007 Stops Receiving Emails

Mat

Right, This is quite a dangerouse issue!

Outlook just doesn't recive e-mails, it just stops and reports all folders
are up to date. They arn't, my pda syncs with my mail server and it tells me
its not!

Working in IT it is quite important that I actually reveive support
requests. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I beleive MS are aware of it, are you going to do anything to address this
issue?

Are "we" going to do anything to address the issue you are encountering? If
we could we would. Microsoft doesn't hang out here. :)

I'm not aware of any issues that you describe except if you are using an
IMAP account. Many have encountered slow and sluggish email when using an
IMAP account and it isn't limited to Outlook 2007. My recourse was to switch
to a POP account.

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for

User not receiving new mail. I had this issue after upgrading from office
2003 to office 2007. Solution: send/receive>send receive settings>define
send receive groups>adjust auto send receive to more realistic value like 4
min>edit the group in groupname (i.e. all accounts)>check to make sure
exchange is included in the send/receive.

I am having the same problem on a brand new machine. OS is Vista Home
Premium. It is a Pop account with a simple one user dial up account. The
system just stopped auto send/recieve. Works fine if you hit the button but
no auto. I removed the mail account, rebooted the system then rebuilt it.
No change. Next I thought it might have something to do with Trend Micro so
I uninstalled. Still no change. Anybody got an idea? System has all
updates installed.
