Outlook 2007 task list won't update

I can add tasks and have them sync with my BB but they don't appear in my
task list. For the existing tasks, they can't be marked complete nor can
their due dates be updated. I think this happened around the install of the
service pack a couple of months ago but not certain it's linked.
