Outlook 2007 Tasks and Inbox

Is there a way for Outlook to mark messages in my inbox or other message
folders to indicate that they have either been used to create a task (by
dragging) or are attached to a task? I spend an inordinate amount of time
matching messages and tasks to make sure I capture everything related to a
specific project.

Why not attach the task to the message or the message to the task?
