Outlook 2007 - the search calendar field is missing ???

Hi

this is a 3rd hand story but . . .

someone i know reckons the filed where you can search the calendar
e.g. to find appointments

has done a runner

any tips on how they have achieved this and how it can be fixed ?

can't see how in my Out2007 that it can be done
