Outlook 2007 w/BCM not working

Ryan

So I got about 100 Accounts set up and almost 200 business contacts and then
the program starts crashing continuously. At some point, the BCM add-in got
disabled and now I don't see it at all.

So I do I see BCM again, and how do I get it to start without crashing?

Thanks,
Ryan

Stopping it from crashing will probably require finding out why it was
crashing.

To re-enable the add-in, in the Windows Registry check:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
\Microsoft.BusinessSolutions.eCRM.OutlookAddin.Connect.1
The value of LoadBehavior should be 3 for Outlook to load it.

I tried that, but I didn't have a Connect.1. I had a Connect.3, and the
registry setting was correct. I ended up getting it working again by going
into Help -> Disabled Items... although that still didn't bring it back
because there was an errant Outlook.exe process running. I killed it using
Task Manager restarted Outlook and the BCM would come up.

However, it still crashes constantly, but not quite as bad. It usually
crashes when I'm switching from to/from an Outlook view to/from a BCM view.

As of right now, it is usable. But everytime I go to a BCM Accounts view, I
get this error: "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete
your last action or actions. Please try again."

How do I make this stable again?

Thanks,
Ryan

I believe you are using BCM 2003.Do you have Small Business Accounting
Installed too? Do you have all the Business Contact Updates. If not,
go to officeupdate web site and down atleast Service Pack 3.

Thanks

Hi Ryan
Could you please send me the log file for the crash. To enable the
logging
Please go to Help --> About Microsoft Office with Business Contact
Manager and check the box "Enable Logging for Business Contact
Manager".
Make BCM to crash. Go to your Run Command and type %temp% to go to
your temp folder. Look for BCMLog_V3 file. please send it to me for
investigation.

Thanks
