outlook 2007 will not send/recieve

Love the new look but I cannot get outlook to send and recieve.

Tested the account settings and the test email worked fine.

Any suggestions out there?

What is the error it gives you? Doe it say something like "none of the
authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server"
well if thats the case, i had outgoing authentication checked in the
advanced.. when the settings were imported, I unchecked it and it sent
messages

Yep,

This worked for me as well!! Strange enough that Road Runner "Technical
Support" said that they dont support this version of Outlook and I
would need to use web interface to send emails?

there is no error code or anything, it simply will not try a connection
to the server.

interestingly on tools button is shows Accounts All, but does show any
email accounts
even though they have been set.

I had Outlook 2007 working fine for the past two days. Now today all
of the sudden it will not send or receive.

When I start Outlook 2007. It says "Either there is no default mail
client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging
request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail
client".

And when I click Send/Recieve I get and error message that says "Not
implemented". It worked yesterday.

I had similar problem with emails . I could not send and getting the
message about...."authentication methods...." however when I selected
to "log on to incomming mail server before sending mail" (more
settings - outgoing server) all was ok.
