Outlook 2007 with an Exchange 2003 Server

Due to some other issues I had to delete my email profile from my computer
and repair my Outlook installation. Now when I try to add my exchange account
to Outlook, it doesn't validate my mail server. When I try to check my name a
box pops up (like with OWA) and asks for username and password, which I
provide, but it won't take it. Quite frustrating - probably something simple
that I have missed. Help!

Create a new Outlook profile, add the Exchange Server service to it, and see
of the problem persists.

I went in to Mail on the control panel and deleted the profile. When I try to
re-enter I get the same validation screen and username and password prompt. I
put the username and password in multiple times and don't have any luck.
