Outlook 2007 won't send emails

I got a new Dell Desktop with Vista Home Premium, Office 2007 and
McAfee Security Center
pre-installed. The McAfee outbound email virus scan repeatedly caused
multiple copies
of messages with large attachments to be sent to the people on my
email list.
So I uninstalled McAfee Security Center and installed Windows Live
OneCare.

Now Outlook 2007 will not send out emails.

I ran the Office Diagnostics which found no problems.

I repaired the Office installation and nothing changed
