outlook 2007

I have been having trouble with my outlook 2007. I have been trying to send
emails and they immedietly go to my outbox. I do not get an error message.
I just can't seem to send messages. Do I have a setting wrong. This just
started a few days ago.

That's where they're supposed to go until they're actually accepted by your
outgoing mail server and then they'll get moved to Sent Items.

What do the messages sitting in the Outbox look like? Are they in italics?
Do they have dates? What happens if you click Send/Receive?

There is no date, No italics when I click send/receive it just comes and
goes real fast. beside the outbox is a green 1 in parenthesis

OK, open one of those messages in the Outbox and click Send again. Does
anything change?

I finally got a sending reporting error....0x800ccc80 and something about
none of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by
your server.

So, what authentication method does your server support? Change the account
properties in Outlook to match what your server supports. Your ISP will be
able to help you, either by calling their support line or by checking their
Help pages online.

got to tools account settings
click on change "not change folder"
click on more settings go to outgoing server
uncheck my outgoing server SMTP resquires AUTH

I spoke too soon. I tried sending an email with an attachment and it still
will not send. It is still stuck in my outbox

I tried sending a email and just a plain email went. Then I tried sending
one with attachments and it will not send.

and whats the size of the attachment that you are trying to send
provide me the error message promise you to give a exact resolution
