Outlook 2007

When I receive emails, I am now getting 2 of each. I have contacted my
internet provider and they say it is in Outlook. It puts 1 copy in the right
folder and then all of the duplicates go into one folder. Any suggestions on
how to fix this? I have checked rules and such and they have not been changed.

Are you using GMail in IMAP by any chance?

No I'm not. I'm having my emails forwarded from my internet provider to
Microsoft Outlook 2007. It just started duplicating them. Not all are
duplicated, some I only get one of. I believe it is in the rules but so far I
have failed to discover what it is in the rules that caused this to happen.

Do you really mean "forwarded" or are you just using Outlook to read and
send email in the ordinary manner?
What AV program are you using? Is it set to scan incoming emails? Try
turning the email scanner off and see if that helps.
