I have installed Office 2007 SBE, but Outlook is nowhere to be seen. On
trying to reinstall, using Add/ remove features, Outlook shows as "Not
Available" , yet when I activated through Word, it clearly showed outlook as
installed. Any ideas?

What happens when attempt to "change" your office installation through
add/remove and change not-available, to install local for outlook?

Does it install Outlook?

Did you have a previous version of Office installed?

Uninstall any prior version of Outlook (and Business Contact Manager) before retrying a custom installation, making Outlook "available."
