Hi!

I am using Outlook 2010 beta.
Since I am using more than one email account I am wondering if it is
possible to show the number of unread/new items right next to the account
name once the account folder structure is collapsed. This way you could
easily see once you get new items even when you have not opened the folder
structure.

If this is not possible in any way, does anyone know how to give feedback on
the beta like it was possible with Windows 7 beta?

Thanks in advance!

When you have Outlook open, and you're in the view that you'd like to comment
on, you can use the smiley face/frowning face feedback tool that sits in your
SysTray. When you select the frowning smile option, it'll take a snap shot of
the windows that are currently open and thus, consequently, send a view of
what you're seeing in Outlook and it'll correlate to the feedback you're
giving them.

You can't display it next to the account name but I have several email
accounts too and what I do is drag the Unread Mail folder for each account
to my Favorites pane. This makes it simple to view your unread email across
multiple accounts and if you have rules that move mail to a specific folder,
your Unread Mail folder will pick those up too.

If you don't see an Unread Mail folder under your Search Folders then
right-click your Search Folders and then click New Search Folder. Unread
Mail will be selected at the top so all you need to do is click OK to create
it.

As an additional note, if you're looking for Office 2010 specific newsgroups
you can find some here:
