I have a user that is complaining that the email notification icon in the
system tray doesn't always appear when she has new mail. Client is Windows
NT 4/SP6a w/Office 2000, server is Exchange 2000/SP3. Since it works some of
the time, I'm at a loss. I did uninstall/reboot/reinstall MS Office, but
that didn't help. Other users connecting to the same server with the
same/similar hardware/software do not have this problem. I'm assuming it's
some sort of client issue, but I don't know how to begin troubleshooting
this. Any suggestions?
