Hello,
A remote user of ours with a new XP Tablet PC and Outlook
2000 has been having sporadic and unpredictable SMTP
Server Unavailable error messages when connecting to our
server via dialup this past week. There are other remote
users but no one else has seen the issue. I don't know
why the issue happens, but what's more troubling is after
the error comes up, the message moves from the outbox to
the sent items box but never actually gets received by
our E-mail server. The user is incredibly frustrated
becuase they don't know if their E-mail was truely sent
or not, and I'm frustrated becuase I don't know what the
trouble is.
What can I start looking at to solve this?
