Outlook 2K3 loses password after domain password change

We are running Outlook in internet mail mode using pop3 accounts at our ISP.
We recently switched over to Outlook 2003 and now whenever a user changes
their Domain password Outlook forgets the saved pop3 account password and
asks for users to "Enter network password". Is there any way to get Outlook
to remember the pop3 password through the domain password change?
