Outlook 2K3 not showing any dictionaries for spellcheck.

Hi

I have a user who has switched on automatic spellchecking on send, he gets
an error message on every email he sends, this is besically because he has
no dictionary selected, but there aren't any to select from.

The dictionaries show in the other Office 2K3 apps so I don;t know what's
going on.

Office is a managed install and the only things I switched off from Outlook
are the following (from MST file Viewer)

+ OutlookAddressBookControl 0 CMWDisableOutlookAddressBookControl
+ OutlookHelpFiles 0 CMWDisableOutlookHelpFiles
+ OutlookImportExportFiles 0 CMWDisableOutlookImportExportFiles
+ OutlookSchedulePlus 0 CMWDisableOutlookSchedulePlus
+ OutlookStationeryFiles 0 CMWDisableOutlookStationeryFiles
+ OutlookTemplateFiles 0 CMWDisableOutlookTemplateFiles
+ OutlookVBScript 0 CMWDisableOutlookVBScript

Could any of these have a component that is required for the Outlook
Dictionary to Perform it's thing properly???

Thanks for any assistance.

Under Tools->Options->Spelling->Dictionaries, what do you show in Outlook?
Can you change it from the dropdown?

Hi Milly

There are no dictionaries showing to chose from in the dropdown.

This is prevalent for all users who I have rolled out Office 2K3 via Group
Policy.

Thanks for your input.
