Outlook 97, Can it use broadband or not?

Goku

Ok, I have a slight problem, My boss fianlly got around to using ADSL on his
computer at work. However, he cannot use outlook 97 now, as it still requires
him to connect via a dialup modem.
Is there anyway to get around this to make it use the ethernet connection
instead?

In general it will follow your Internet settings. Have you removed the
dial-up connection from Internet Options?

On the properties op Internet Mail you can select the Connection tab. Set it
to use the network for the connection.
