outlook 97 - open message size problem

When I double click on a mail item it opens in a tiny box , and I have to
resize the box before I can read the message. How can I get the item to
open in a normal readable sized box?
Outbound new messages are fine. Any inbound message from any date is bad.

Well, I couldn't work it out so I did the re-install option on the CD which
fixed it.
