outlook 97 running on XP

Cannot get Outlook to run on XP. It starts up and goes
into product but doesn't get mail (cannot find ISP).
Outlook express works fine. I've looked and I don't have
Internet (e)mail service available and cannot load as OS
was installed on PC.

Can anyone tell me how to load the service and where I
get it from please.

This is short term as I'm going to install Office XP when
I get a chance but need access to Outlook now !

You need to install the Internet Mail Enhancement Patch, available from
Office Downloads. You should also update the rest of Office while you are
at it.
