In the process of upgrading to Exchange 2003 from 5.5, still have a
large amount of users who use Outlook 97.
A couple of days after deleting the old Exchange 5.5 server, several
(but not all) of the Outlook 97 users reported that they could not
connect to the Server.
In their email profile when doing a check name/server the error is it
is unable to find the name, reports connectivity problems.
It seems the PC's in question cannot connect to the Global Address
List via the new Exchange server, but other PC's using same OS/Outlook
can.
Apart from upgrading to a newer version of Outlook that can get the
GAL from a GC is there anything else I can do?
Thanks John
