Outlook 97 : undeliverable/SMTP access denied

Does anyone know of a fix for this issue in Outlook 97?

When a user sends a mail, it leaves the sent items box,
only to end up as an indeliverable not in her IMAPSP
folder where it should be but in her personal inbox.

The error message with the undeliverable is :

"The IMAPSP SMTP Transport service failed to deliver the
message to all of the recipients to server iss-
001.unilever .com for the following reason: SMTP Access
Denied "

This occurs even when she just sends a mail to herself.
I have checked her outlook settings and they're fine. The
server is also okay.

Help!
