Outlook and Cox Intenet

I have a client who wants to use Outlook with Cox Internet. She can use
Outlook Express with no problems. When Outlook is set up the same way we
get the message "The specified server was found - no response. Please
verify port and SSL settings." We called Cox tech support to verify
settings. There didn't seem to be any problem with settings, but they do
not support any mail client except Outlook Express. Does anyone know of
any settings necessary to connect to the Cox Server? This does not
appear to be a password/username problem.
