Outlook and Exchange

My outlook wont shut down when I am on our company
exchange server, and I have to use the apps recovery prog
or task manager to close it down , any ideas ?

Thanks Roady, I am using Windows XP and Office 2003 (
installed about 3 weeks) none of the normal commands
work , close , exit, I get a message from an Icon on the
shortcut bar telling me to cancel server request but it
wont allow me to do it.

You may be running some other software that is using Outlook, such as
ActiveSync or Desktop Sidebar or any other program that uses Outlook.
Because Outlook 2003 uses the notification icon, it is more noticeble now.
