Outlook and Hotmail features

I view hotmail through outlook, synchronized. But, when I send a message, it
saves a copy to my INBOX as well as my sent folders. How to make it only save
to Sent? And, when I reply to a hotmail message via outlook, it does not mark
the Icon as repied, forwarded, etc. How to do this as well?
